This course examines epidemiologic methods, surveillance systems, and population-level evidence linking physical activity to health promotion, disease prevention, and quality of life. Students analyze and interpret research findings, examine trends in physical activity and health outcomes, and apply epidemiologic evidence to inform policy, programming, and organizational decision-making. Emphasis is placed on translating population health evidence into strategic action and measurable practice.
