Division Dean:  Bret Clark, Ph.D.

Department Chair:  Steve Lambert, Ph.D.

The Cybersecurity major is offered online through the College’s partnership with RIZE Education. This allows for virtual instruction from experts in the field of Cybersecurity while attending Newberry and fulfilling other graduation requirements in a traditional environment. This program is intended to build off of a strong liberal arts foundation, while providing students with the most relevant skills in Cybersecurity. This major is designed to provide students with the foundational knowledge and skills to enable them to display critical thinking and problem solving in relation to a wide range of Cybersecurity challenges, analyze and investigate cyber attacks and their aftermath, and communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively.
