Newberry College is dedicated to fostering a diverse, equitable, inclusive, and welcoming environment such that all who study, work, and visit our campus feel a sense of belonging. The Office of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging supports the institution towards this goal by working collaboratively with various departments and organizations (on and off campus) to provide 1) opportunities to engage with and learn from people from diverse backgrounds, identities, and perspectives; 2) opportunities for self-reflection and personal growth; and 3) support programs and services for students, faculty, and staff. Our office is located on the second floor of Holland Hall and is staffed by Dr. Altheia Richardson, Vice President for Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging and Deidra Clark, Administrative Assistant.
