This course introduces the study of healthcare socio-demographic characteristics of geographic areas. An overview of community, state, national, and international healthcare organizations will be analyzed. Topics will include healthcare access, age-specific healthcare issues, communication of healthcare information, biostatistics, epidemiology, and healthcare economics.
