This course introduces students to the beliefs, practices, sacred texts, history, and cultural influence of major world religions. Through a study of religious traditions such as Buddhism, Hinduism, Judaism, Islam, and Christianity, students will examine the role of religion in shaping cultures and societies. Students will develop religious literacy and focus on engagement with religious diversity.
