Financial decisions in healthcare are leadership decisions, and this course develops the ability to make them well. Students work with the financial tools and frameworks healthcare leaders rely on, including budget structures, reimbursement systems, cost and revenue analysis, and capital planning, learning to interpret them through a leadership lens and connect financial performance directly to quality outcomes. Students also advance their Capstone Research Project by developing the financial and operational analysis section tied to the organization they identified in HCA 500.
