LEX 330: Civil Litigation

This course examines the civil litigation process from case initiation through resolution. Topics include jurisdiction, pleadings, discovery, motions, trial preparation, and support. Students will also explore arbitration basics and settlement agreements, as well as Judgment and Post-Judgment Remedies. Emphasis will be placed on the paralegal’s role in managing civil cases, preparing litigation documents, and supporting attorneys throughout the litigation process.
