Topics will include healthcare access, age-specific healthcare issues, communication of healthcare information, biostatistics, epidemiology, and healthcare economics.

Course coverage includes healthcare financial statements, healthcare accounting, financing of healthcare organizations, healthcare cost accounting, budget preparation and analysis in healthcare, and provider payment systems. Quantitative and qualitative issues of healthcare financial management will be analyzed.
