Newberry College offers the following graduate degree programs:

  • Master of Education in Teaching, Learning, and Curriculum (MEd)

The Master of Science in Organizational Development and Leadership is a practitioner-oriented, professional graduate degree program – designed to optimize leaders’ capacity to change the world – one organization at a time. Through an interdependent relationship between industry and the academy, each class will contribute to the student becoming a knowledgeable, skilled, and agile practitioner – actively contributing to organizational change, learning, and optimization.

Master of Science in Sport Management and Leadership degree can open a variety of career paths in the sports industry. The goal of sport management and leadership is to prepare individuals for leadership roles in the sports industry, such as athletic directors, team managers, sports marketers, and event planners. Through a combination of theoretical and practical coursework, students in this field learn how to effectively manage sports organizations, events, and teams, and how to lead people and organizations to success.

The Master of Arts in Criminal Justice is an interdisciplinary program that combines the principles and practices of criminal justice with the principles and practices of leadership. It focuses on the development of leadership skills and abilities that are relevant to the criminal justice profession, such as communication, decision-making, and conflict resolution. The program is designed to prepare criminal justice practitioners, those at a crossroads in their careers, and those in intersectional careers with leadership skills and knowledge of the demands and dynamic changes in the criminal justice field.

The Master of Education in Teaching, Learning, and Curriculum is built on a foundation of excellence and innovation. The MEd program complements our existing offerings by providing certified teachers and educational leaders with advanced knowledge and skills. With a focus on personalized learning, professional advancement, and cutting-edge curriculum, the MEd program enhances Newberry College's commitment to shaping the future of education.
