CRJ 400: Professional Ethics in Criminal Justice

This course will present the fundamentals of ethical behavior as it relates to the American criminal justice system. Classical and contemporary ethical theories will be applied to the discussion of such issues as discretion, corruption, use of force, racism, deception, professionalism, and the nature and meaning of justice.

CRJ 513: Criminal Jurisprudence

Credits 3

This course examines the complex concepts, foundations, and principles of the constitution and substantive criminal law and criminal procedure from a historical perspective to today. Supreme Court Jurisprudence will be compared and contrasted with State Court Jurisprudence.
